ESTIMATION OF THE WEIBULL DISTRIBUTION FORM PARAMETER AS A FUNCTION OF THE SCALE PARAMETER BY THE PERCENTILE METHOD

چکیده

Among the probability density functions that estimate and project diametric distributions, Weibull function is one of most studied, percentile method an alternative approach for estimating its parameters, with different deduction methods calculating location, scale, shape parameters; in addition, these some require iteration between formulas. In this study, was used, a established parameter, asymptotic percentiles, scale parameter. This tested continuous forest inventory (CFI) data Khaya grandifoliola stand Eucalyptus spp. integrated forest-livestock-forest (IFLF) systems, also validated based on distributions designed by application recovery methodology determining growth production (FG&P) parameters. The results showed exact correlation when compared parameters calculated method. using method, due to practicality, may be obtaining parameter FG&P methodologies.
